Power pop is a pretty formulaic genre -- a glorious formula, but still, predictable enough that lots and lots of bands can pull off a "perfect" blend of melody, harmony, jangle and crunch a time or two in the course of their careers. But I can't name another record that hits the magic spot EVERY SINGLE TRACK. This is so f$%#ing good. Craig O'Neill

There's some kind of magical mischief that rises thick in the air when Michael Carpenter and Mark Moldre get together to write and record. I don't know what it is... something about the Beatles and whisky. Whatever it is, I heard it in the Supahip's first album and I hear it even drunker and faster in this one. Well done, gentlemen. You've done it again. ~ R dallyroz
